rdfjs.github.io's Issues

Documentation section on the web page

There is a documentation section on the page which is currently hidden because it doesn't contain any items. We shifted the discussion about which content it should contain in the PR discussion. I would like to open the discussion now on what scope and requirements we want to define for content in that section.

One question that I have in mind: Do we want library/framework specific documentation in there? For example, Comunica has a lot of documentation, RDF-Ext documentation is currently in progress. But they are also included in the library list. There are also pages like https://rdfjs.vercel.app/ which cover multiple libraries/frameworks.

If you add a CNAME file (e.g. containing 'rdfjs.org'), github will redirect to that domain. You then lose the *.github.io SSL.

  • [CloudFlare] DNS with SSL for Custom Domains is one way to do HTTPS with github pages and a custom domain.

Either:

A. Configure [CloudFlare DNS] with SSL
B. Keep the current HTTP://rdfjs.org links
C. Stay with https://rdfjs.github.io/

Request to use logo for rdfjs.vercel.app

I'm currently working on rdfjs.vercel.app, a website that aims to document how to use RDF with JavaScript (well, TypeScript and React to be technically correct, but I think the demos should be able to showcase how to use this for "normal" JS as well).

The logo that you've used for your website is very fitting for what I'm trying to convey, and I was hoping that it's ok for me to reuse it for my website?

Also, I realize that rdfjs.vercel.app might be confusingly close to rdf.js.org, so I want to formally ask you whether it's ok for me to use the URL, or if I should find something else? I started the project as semtechjs-demo.vercel.app, but that's kinda clonky and not easy to remember, so I changed it to rdfjs.vercel.app, that at least somewhat rolls of your tongue.
