Installation

  1. Exit WoW
  2. Move your old World of Warcraft\Interface and World of Warcraft\WTF folders to a Backup folder
  3. Copy the Interface folder from the download in to your World of Warcraft\ folder.
  4. Launch WoW and log in

Update

  1. Exit WoW
  2. Copy the Interface folder from the download in to your World of Warcraft\ folder.
  3. Launch WoW and log in

Bars reset

I am trying to replace bar 3 with 5 and 5 with 3, because that's a setup i can use when i do not have your UI installed. But after I finish the setup, whenever the UI is reloaded, the positioning configuration is lost. The bars keep the orientation and row number settings, though.

Remove ancillary addons

These will be removed from the download, but will be linked to in a "Suggested Additions" section of download page/README

RU & EU fonts

Ok, since RU accounts was converted to EU, we can now face EU players when queueing in RU random BGs and vice-versa.
This leads us to a completely new problem - font used in RealUI is not universal, it shows RU characters only when used with RU client language (and vice-versa, do you use separate fonts for en_US/en_EU and ru_RU clients?)
I do not even see "????" in raid frames when playing my EU warlock in russian BGs, all names is just empty.

Arcane Mage power %

Would be good to get a check into the UnitFrames for if the player is an Arcane Mage, and if so move the 0.35 power step to 0.9. From what I heard, Arcane Mages now need to try and stay above 90% mana to get the most DPS.

[Beta] [Legion - RealUI-develop] DEATH KNIGHT - Debuffs not appearing on enemy unit frame

Description

Debuffs appear to be missing from the target unit frame while in combat. THIS IS ONLY AFFECTING DEATH KNIGHT AT PRESENT. Testing on a Paladin yielded expected results.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Choose a class that has a debuff or DoT.
  2. Engage in combat
  3. Apply DoT or Debuff

Expected behavior:

Debuff should be tracked in one of two places: Next to the player character if a class/spec specific debuff (I imagine this is still in WIP), or to the up and right of a target if not spec-specific.

Actual behavior:

Debuffs do not appear.

No LUA errors are generated during this. The only LUA Error generated as of this test is from #25

Additional information

  • Problem started happening recently, didn't happen in an older version of RealUI: Unknown; first attempt using RealUI in Legion.
  • Problem can be reliably reproduced, doesn't happen randomly: [Yes]

Does not want to install on RU client

Hello, trying to install new RealUI on 6.0.2, even removed WTF folder.
When i click "Click to install" i see that interface is actually installed, but one problem: install overlay still overlaps screen. If i click it again, i got same results. Any advice? Perhaps i can take a look at some logs... No problems on EU client, btw.

Error in cbNiv on Reset new

Error appears in current Beta build when clicking the "Reset New" Button.

Reverting a746f10 in https://github.com/NibelheimInt/RealUI-80/blob/master/Interface/AddOns/cargBags_Nivaya/style.lua seems to fix the problem. (3rd parameter slot to i)

Rogue - icon hiding problem when out of combat

I've noticed that the Slice and Dice icon that displays to let you know how much longer you have on slice and dice until it expires does not properly hide when the effect expires and you leave combat. The grayed out icon stays present until you /reload. I can provide a screenshot if this would help.

Description

Death Knight runes are not displaying from RealUI's HUD. They are visible, however, on Legion's new HUD at the base of my character.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a Death Knight on the test realms.
  2. Login
  3. Target a combat target/target dummy
  4. Note lack of Runes.
    4a. Receive error from Raven
  5. Log out and back in. Issue persists, and only error at present is from Raven.

Expected behavior:

Rune Bars should be present about center of the HUD which fill as runes come off cooldown.

Actual behavior:

Rune indicators are missing entirely.

There is no left side filler space so the walls eats the text.

Have isolated down to nibRealUI

Have tried multiple versions of LibArtifactData - disabling nibRealUI alone solves problem.

Swapping action bar types requires manually resetting Grid layout

When swapping between RealUI bartender layouts you must manually reconfigure the vertical positioning of the Grid layout otherwise the grid layout doesn't line up properly or will be overlapped by the bartender layout.

This is not necessarily a bug, just an inconvenience that would be nice if it could be handled automatically.

Ex: open RealUI config -> Select Other -> Change Center Bar to 0 Center - 3 Bottom
The next time you join a group the Grid layout will not be viewable as it will be overlayed by the first action bar.

Russian client, DBM font issue

Displays "?????????" instead of proper glyphs.
Probably worth switching default DBM font to something with cyrillic support?

Bank Reagent tab displays even when not purchased

The Bank Reagent frame always displays even if your character has not purchased the reagent portion yet. It also displays the purchase button, but it is underneath a bunch of bag slots that you don't have access to yet making it very difficult to click. There's about a 1px area that you can get to that allows you to click it.

Collections Interface - tab selection doesn't change title

When you select different tabs after going into the bottom left Menu and opening 'Collections' the resulting tabbed display doesn't seem to change the Window title when swapping between tabs. Eg when Mounts is opened the tab Mounts is selected and hilighted, but when you click on Pet Journal the top title bar still says 'Mounts'.

Add PetTracker Aurora Skin for RealUI

I've been dinking around with PetTracker and getting the frames re-skinned with Aurora. This is what I have so far:

For the most part it looks fine, but it could be better in a couple areas. I'm a little stuck on some of the icons as they don't seem to have any of the standard elements that the blizzard UI has in the other windows. If you'd like to touch this up and incorporate it that would be cool, or if you have suggestions on how to get it to display better it would be appreciated.

Hey Gethe, I read something about you no being well. Are you discontinuing the UI? I absolutely love it. My husband has bought me a 3440x1440 resolution monitor (asus rog, 34").

This look bigger than usual, do you support this resolution?

the ChatFrame copyframe does not get skinned like all other realui elements. It would be nice if it matched the other elements rather than using the default blizzard frames.

artifact's item level issue

artifact's item level is correct (paperdollframe) when they are equiped, but if you put them to bag (cargBags_Nivaya), their ilvl are all wrong, usually higher than actual ilvl.
also, relic dosen't show ilvl in cargBags_Nivaya.

[Beta] [Legion - RealUI-develop] After getting into and out of a vehicle, unit frames are now static.

Description

After getting into and out of a vehicle (for example: Broken Shore's Unattended Cannons in the scenarios), Cast Bars and Unit Frames no longer fill or deplete.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a new character on a test realm.
  2. Enter the Broken Shore Scenario
  3. Enter one of the Unattended Cannons
  4. Dismount the cannon or have it destroyed.
  5. Attempt to attack a target or cast an ability (such as hearthstone)
  6. Reloading the UI resolves this.

Expected behavior:

Bars should be filling and depleting as usual as damage is taken or casts near completion.

Actual behavior:

Bars remain completely filled.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Loot an item with a skin you don't have.
  2. Gain the skin, by equipping or obtaining (BoP)
  3. Recieve no chat notification that you've gained the new skin.

Expected behavior:

The expected behaviour is that your gonna see it in chat.

Actual behavior:

Nothing in chat, or it bugs out with a error (though, I've not had that bug since 17c.

On wanting to disable the skin:

It's not so much that's there's something I want to be different, and just that over the years of trying skins I've grown to not like them.

Death by a thousand paper cuts for reasons that (I believe) addon devs have no control over -- things like huge amount of whitespace in spellbook because the chrome is gone but you can't make the window smaller, that the active/inactive tabs in the social pane have misaligned text on the tabs, in the PvP pane I can't see which of the options I've selected (though that one may be a bug).

At the end of the day, I wouldn't say to change much of anything, because I think yours is the best, I was just wondering if there was a way to essentially remove window skinning (which would leave everything else -- minimap, bags, dataline, bars, hud -- which is 99% of the reason I love this so much).

#INF% Error with Artifact Power

Prerequisites

Description

During Leveling from 100 - 109 the tool bar AP worked, soon as I hit 110 Artifact in the millions or billions seems to break this Artifact Bar, thus showing #INF%.

[Blades of the Fallen Prince] gains 1,260,000,200 Artifact Power.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Get Artifact Power Item e.g: Glittering Memento with at least 150 Million or more.
  2. Right click on Item in your inventory.
  3. Hover mouse over Artifact Power Datatext #INF% or Alt + Left click until Artifact Power data text.
  4. Left Click on [LUA Error:000001E29F769000] in the chat.

Expected behavior:

To see amount of Artifact Power gained as a bar that fills.

Actual behavior:
Datatext shows as #INF%, not very helpful.
