Update socket.io dependencies to 4.5.1 (and maybe React)

Hi there @redbaron76, I have no intention to be rude :)
Your example of connecting to socket.io in Next.js is the best one online!!
It has no async function or promise to address the /api/socketio (making the code easier to manage):

I've learned a lot from it. This is amazing!

Is it possible to update the dependencies to socket.io-client and socket.io? It's not that I need it - but I wish for it to stay relevant for a long time - to help others encountering it online.

BTW - it would be cool to also update React to version 18 (and React has a warning message inside its useEffect in this project's CodeSandbox).
