Js error in FF and works in srWare Iron

• a video from youtube.

It works in srWare Iron, even if I have this error in the Js console:

Unsafe JavaScript attempt to access frame with URL http://xxxx:9001/p/haricots from frame with URL https://www.youtube.com/embed/Tcx6YyXvvRI. The frame requesting access has a protocol of 'https', the frame being accessed has a protocol of 'http'. Protocols must match.

But maybe it's because I access my etherpad in http and not https.

In FF (iceweasel), I can see the frame of the video, but it's a black static image.
In the Js console, I see:

ReferenceError: yt is not defined

yt.setConfig({

And these lines come from the script in https://www.youtube.com/embed/Tcx6YyXvvRI

• A video from vimeo

It works in srWare Iron, even if I have this error (different from youtube) in the Js console:

Unsafe JavaScript attempt to access frame with URL http:/xxxx.net:9001/p/haricots from frame with URL http://player.vimeo.com/video/62219238?color=ffffff. The frame being accessed set 'document.domain' to 'xxxx.net', but the frame requesting access did not. Both must set 'document.domain' to the same value to allow access.


In FF (iceweasel), same problem as for youtube.
I can see the frame, but the video is not there.

This Js error come from the script from the vimeo page (http://player.vimeo.com/video/62219238?color=ffffff)

• A video from dailymotion

The plugin doesn't work with these videos.
Is it in your TODO list? ;)

NB:
I don't have any problem to see videos from youtube or vimeo with my FF (iceweasel)

Did you add me to npm too for these packages?

I wont be able to publish unless I'm added as an owner of a package on npm.

Unexpected error: could not translate element content for key

We receive the following Error Messages in Chrome on Mac OSX with the newest versions of Etherpad (installed yesterday from Github)

Unexpected error: could not translate element content for key ep_embedmedia.embed <a title=​"Embed Media" data-l10n-id=​"ep_embedmedia.embed" class=​"pressed">​…​​flex

I submit the issue here because in the official repo is no issues enabled!

locales folder

Please add a locales folder for translations into other languages. Thank you

How to embed youtube video

I have installed is plugin. But I don't know how to use this plugin.
In toolbar I can see small icon but pressing it nothing happens. I tried on both firefox and chrome.

OS Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS
Browser Firefox 79.0 (64-bit)
Browser Chrome 84.0.4147.125

Clarify where to submit issues

The README says

This repo has been moved to
https://github.com/ether/ep_embedmedia

but the move seems incomplete as there is
no way to open an issue or a pull request there.

Note that GitHub offers a way to move a repository
that transfers everything and adds a redirection
from the old repository and issue tracker to the new.
Maybe that should be explored and preferred to the
current situation where instead of such a move
the new repository seems to be a fork of the old.

ep_embedmedia not working at all

We installed now a fresh Ubuntu20.04 with all requisites and etherpad-lite and all its requisites.
when installing ep_embedmedia from etherpad/admin/plugins it is installing the plugin

and in the frontend it shows up as a left alignment icon

but when clicking on it nothing is working
Not sure how the plugin actually should work as in the description the image shows not even that left alignment icon for the ep_embedmedia.

Perhaps that House is the embedmedia Icon - not sure what you see in the image
