It doesn't format integer correctly

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. format("# ##0", 2005) (you can pass any integer numer as value)
2.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
>The expected output is "2 005".
>But i got instead "2005 000".

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
>format.20110630-1100.min.js
>Google Chrome v14 on windows Vista.

Problem with the number format

1. I need a number in the format of ###,##,#####
2. But i have tried so many ways but not getting output properly.
3. Please let me know proper number format for the above # format

Formatting very large numbers

when having many large format numbers above 10 billion in added value are few 
thousand of the number to be formatted

attached my test case that can be used by you to test what I report them, use 
the second input field to test the behavior I described, any questions I am 
available to help them.
