This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app.

Getting Started

Install dependencies:

npm install
# or
yarn

Run the development server:

npm run dev
# or
yarn dev

Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.

You can start editing the page by modifying pages/index.js. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.

Application is not responsive for Tablet view

Application is not responsive enough for tablet view
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open the application In tablet view

Expected behavior
At least things should be properly aligned.

Typescript Definitions

While we are building this amazing piece of software with support of amazing people!

So why not build this thing with amazing tech as well? Hence, Typescript it is!

Toolbar breaks 2k and 4k screens

Default URL doesn't redirect to category page

The index URL of the project doesn't take the user to the category page.
The URL should ideally be: https://devdevdev.now.sh/category/new-in

Hence, the following behavior is there.

Implement CI for this repository

CI solution like Travis or Circle is the need of hour since this is going to be an open source project now.

Redux for state management

Redux implementation is not going to be straightforward for this project as this project consumes Next.js for server-side rendering.

Hence, the implementation might need some extra efforts. As of now, I am looking into this issue.

add prettier for the repository

Since multiple people are going to work on this, we need to have our prettier and husky configuration ready.

A cool application is incomplete without offline feature

Need to implement Service Worker in this application.

Not really sure about what features can be there in offline mode but for now installing it as an application on the phone looks cool too.

Cart Full screen view

Right now, Cart is not fully open. While, it looks good and feasible for 2-3 items but it becomes kinda complex to deal with while dealing with items more than that.

Hence, an optional full-screen view can help in this.

Unit testing in codebase

Since the project is growing along with more and more functionality is coming up, it is getting very important to make sure existing things don't break and hence, unit testing becomes important.

In my experience, this library is more than enough for us to get started.
