Thanks for reporting. Unfortunately the 2018 edition of Rust made the whole path resolving topic quite a bit more complicated than it already was before.

I'm aware of the issue though and looking into things. I just can't guarantee any near-term fix just yet.

I would like to take a crack at this. Appreciate if you can share any pointers @regexident. I know I need to get into tree & dot_printer for starters.

I gave it a try here.

It didn't work out quite well.

I think I will try again but this time take a different approach; I will try detecting the edition and if it's "2018" give control to an alternate implementation.
