My deploy.rb defined scm as: set :scm, 'git'
To deliver the Git details (line 45), you guys are checking for "return unless capistrano[:scm] == :git". Obviously a quick .to_sym would fix this for me and any other stringified scm people.

Not even sure if this is possible, but requiring cap-gun loads ActiveSupport, which breaks Capistrano in recent versions:
We would have to remove our dependency on ActionMailer, as that is what is pulling in ActiveSupport IIRC.
Directories like 'panel', 'i', and 'files' should be under a docs/ dir or something like that. Change the task generating those artifacts to put those files in the right place.
I just did a gem install cap_gun and got the following. Looks like ActionMailer::Base has changed and dependencies weren't pinned?
/Users/gflarity/.rvm/gems/ruby-1.8.7-p352@deploy/gems/cap_gun-0.2.4/lib/cap_gun.rb:65:in deployment_notification': undefined method

0.2.3 needs code review and then needs to be released.
0.2.3 fixes issues with ActiveSupport 3 and "cat /REVISION" issue.
