Movie Collection Manager

A small web app running on Node/Express/Mongo sourcing data from TMDB.

You can use this locally or online, I am using Heroku, to manage your own personal movie collection.

More basic features are in place now, searching TMDB, adding and modifying data in your local collection.

Dependancies

• Node.JS v12.X
• MongoDB 2.6+

Setup details

Clone repo

run: npm install from comman-line

To Launch:

Ensure Mongo is running

npm start

Features

• Search TMDB for movies
• Add Movies to your collection
• Update own detail from within collection

v0.9.1:

• Futher updated the auth abilities:
  • Default user acount setup on app launch if 0 users found in DB.
  • Admin section updates for user detail management.
    • Password only updated if the password field is completed.

Default auth details are currently admin@admin / admin.

    • Only logged in users are able to modfy the collection and wish list
