You need to contact the MLS Service providing the Web API interface.

Thank you. Its a very convoluted process. So many people at this MLS have no clue what it is. Do you happen to know the contact for the CRMLS?
Appreciate the help

When you contact your MLS provider explain that you want access to an IDX interface, then when connected to the correct party, also ask for Web API credentials.

I’m having a similar issue. My MLS doesn’t know anything about credentials (though they are a member of RESO). I have an IDX login and password but is this all I need? In the config file there are all these variables:
// API authentication URL
$api_auth_url = "";
// API token URL
$api_token_url = "";
// API data request (web) URL
$api_request_url = "";
// API user name
$auth_username = "";
// API password
$auth_password = "";
// API client ID
$client_id = "";
// API secret key
$client_secret = "";
// Redirect URI
$redirect_uri = "";
Do I need to set them all? If so, I have no idea how to find out their settings.
Thanks

... The credentials come from the MLS service provider (i.e. Corelogic, FBS, Black Knight, etc).

... No, the IDX login/password originate from the MLS provider. You need to explain to your MLS that IDX login will (usually) not work with a Web API interface.

... Those setting would come from the MLS provider. Most of those settings are needed (depending on the provider's OpenID configuration).

Thanks so much for your quick reply! I'll figure out how to contact my MLS service provider. Thank you very much.
