The currently Listening share and the Song share button have reversed logic!

Sharing song name shares the file and sharing the file is sharing the file name

A suggestion about singer ava

I'am Chinese user of this App. Thanks to tour contibutetion.It will dispaly Chineses singer'avactor.There is a suggestion about this app.
Many music has two or more singers.It will not display singer image when a song has two or more singers even if ecch of  these singers has a image.  Can we let the app display the avatar of one of the singers or put the avatars into a picture?

At last, I hava a question about the lyrics. Which kind of lyric can support lyric scrolling? It is static om my phone.

Cannot load music without internet connectivity.

Today I was outside without connectivity to the internet. I needed to restart my phone. I noticed, after restarting, the app could not load any music. Before I restarted the phone, the app was functioning properly, even without internet connection. I noticed though, I was able to play a song when I chose to open it via the app from within a file manager.

Auto-download artist image didn't work on android Pie

I recently updated my android to the pie version, and I found that the auto download artist image didn't work, it works for me in nougat and oreo, I've tried to re-install the app but didn't fix the issue, thank you😁

App crash when clicking on details (music)

When you click on details, the app crashes and after opening the app, it shows changelog and ask for storage permission.
And everything setting is resetted.

music speed slowing and going faster when using Bluetooth headphones

It doesn't happen with any other device or app, I tried lots of different combinations, the only thing I haven't tried is using retromusic player in a different device but I don't have another phone in hands right now

Search activity does'nt pops keyboard automatically.

When we head to search button, it opens a new activity with search bar at top, but no pop up keyboard, have to click the search bar again to get keyboard to search and i modified the manifest file to fix this issue, and created a pull request, please consider it.

Removing duplicate songs in playlist

Is there a quick way to remove duplicate tracks in playlists? Or a way to order songs within a playlist via alphabetical order to spot duplicates?

Upload the application to F-Droid.

I think it would be useful if we upload the project to F-Droid. I don't really like using the Google Play Store and it would spread the word.

Switching songs while connected via bluetooth takes too long

Hi, I am new here and I just recently installed this app on my new smartphone. Switching songs from my phone (OnePlus 6) while connected to headphones or the loud speaker is instant but whenever I connect to a Bluetooth device it takes about 6 seconds to switch songs. I know that this app is the issue because I tried another app (Amazon music) and that one changes songs instantly while connected to the same bluetooth device.

Problem of switching songs by earphone when screen locked

When I switch to next song by earphone while screen locked, it has a possibility that the player gets stuck, then I need to tap twice with interval to firstly pause and then resume so that the song be played, or I just unlock my screen and it also works. I am using Xiaomi Mi 6, no idea if this problem is common, and apology for my poor English.

(beta) Retro music Equaliser not actually explicitly applied at startup

I noticed this with my Honor 10, where huawei's sound system/equaliser actually messes with the startup of sound streams, massively decreasing volume for the first half of the second.

The way to enforce the equalizer is by selecting "system equaliser" in settings, then the app's, exit the menu (as "Equaliser" isn't selectable now), and when rejoining the audio menu, tap the equaliser menu, there will be a noticeable gap in the audio stream as of that moment, but right then the equaliser has been applied.

I have no idea if this is Huawei's fault or if it's a bug, but it's worth mentioning, as audiophiles like me like to hear the satisfying first setup beat.

White screen

When changing the now playing option to adaptive the app turns white.

when entering the details of the songs closes, when using the quick scroll closes for what I have seen, also in my cell phone I do not change the notification design and thank you very much for changing the blur mode 😉👍🏻

Status bar icons will change to white

After sliding down now playing screen status bar icons will turn into white.

Playlist problem..

After a recent update I can't add songs to playlist. It always displays New Playlist. Existing playlists are not being displayed.

Control buttons on notification always in "pressed" state

[Bug] Display translation key in app shortcut instead of actual message

Hi,

I'd like to report what I think is a minor bug, just in case it can help.
When accessing the 'App Shortcuts' menu, the 'last_added' option is not correctly translated. Instead of seeing the actual translation, the key @string/last_added is displayed.

Album ordering bug

When I order the whole Album page by Artist, the individual Album order is messed up. I think it orders them too by Artist. The ordering options for the single Album do not work anymore after that. For example, when I order by Track Number it isn't ordered the right way.
This bug only seems to occur when I order the Album page by Artist. The other ordering systems don't seem to have this bug.

Please shorten versionName

Currently, versionName is quite a long string and includes spaces. Would it be possible to strip the R - prefix and skip the date, at least for release builds?

Background: there was a request to include your app with my F-Droid repo. In the Android client, when updates are pending, the place showing "old version" versus "new version" is quite limited – so a long versionName is hard to read if at all. So best restrict it to major.minor.patch (e.g. 1.7.10 for the current version). Would that be possible?
