Simple component for Foobar2000 to fix CUE/FLAC problems

32-bit windows 7, foobar2000 1.6.7, foo_cuefixer 1.24. Not possible to open any cue at all.
There is no problem on 64-bit windows 10.
Hi! Please release your plugin also in 64-bit mode to be able to use it with foobar2000 64-bit. Thank you!
as title says, it doesn't work with library folders. Instead it only works with added folders
I installed the component and it works for media library in the Windows UI.
I want to use foobar2000 for media server so I installed UPNP/DLNA plugin from https://www.foobar2000.org/components/view/foo_upnp
However it still shows both big single file and splitted entries using DLNA app.
Is there something wrong with my setup? Or is it possible to filter also for DLNA media server?
The music folder added to the media library does not exclude the entire track, and manually dragging into the playlist works fine
Is it possible to add the 64-bit version of the component?
Playlists can have a lock with "remove items" permitted, so the following code will be more correct:
auto lock_filter_mask = playlistManager->playlist_lock_get_filter_mask(p_playlist);
if (lock_filter_mask & playlist_lock::filter_remove)
{
delete entriesToRemove;
console::print("CUEFIXER: playlist locked");
return;
}
I'm not sure if I'm misunderstanding the functionality of this plugin but it does not appear to be working on 64bit version of Foobar2000. The screenshot show an older preview version but I updated to the latest and still have issue. Again I'm not sure exactly how this works, but I'm expecting at the very least that the original flac file gets hidden if there is a cue sheet in the same folder. Also I would hope there should be pseudo files listed in the library.
Ive been experiencing a crash when cuefixer is loaded. It happens when I try to make a playlist with my entire lossless collection. The collection consists of over 165,000 items. It doesn't happen when I remove cuefixer. I've tried beta versions of Foobar and will tinker a bit more with the 32bit version of Foobar.
I think it might be in the realm of possibility that I have duplicate Cue files in some albums. One referencing a wave file and one referencing a flac file.
It seems foo_cuefixer uses metadb::path_compare to compare the reference file with the file on disk. According to the foobar2000 SDK, this comparison is case sensitive by default unless caller changes the case_sensitive
value. However, as you may know, Windows file system is case insensitive. This leads to situation where the referenced file (e.g. CDImage.flac
vs CDimage.flac
) is found and added but the filter seemingly doesn't remove it from the playlist.
the FILE's value containing the question mark crashes foobar.
I have some broken .cue files which point to the blablalba?.flac e.g.
whenever I use ColumnsUI's filter to choose the artist/album with such .cues foobar (2.0) crashes.
Default user interface
I have:
two facets panes (one for Artists, one for Albums);
one playlist view;
first bug:
when i select artist for the first time then select album for the first time duplicates appear.
when i change selection of albums back and forth duplicates are filtered out correctly.
second bug:
if duplicates are filtered out correctly then when I press alt-tab (once or twice, depends if you have another window opened) duplicates reappear.
OR I can press just Tab key several times to change focus to different panes and REFERENCED_FILEs appear in playlist along with .CUE or .APL.
Since the macOS SDK is available, is it possible to add macOS support?
Some files appear like this:
In order to fix this I open them with Notepad++, do some minor change and save. It fixes it right away:
The catch is that if I undo the changes to the file whatsoever, i.e. do ctrl+z & ctrl+s, or just replace it with a backup, the issue never comes back. This never happens with these cues in other players, in AIMP for example.
So I assume the cue is not a culprit. This bug been bothering me for years, coz the foo_cuefilter also has it.
Perhaps it is something you could fix.
Here's some reference https://hydrogenaud.io/index.php/topic,68236.0.html
So it might be foobar's bug after all... dunno
p.s.: select album/tracks > tools > reload info - helps
