Simple Java Server/Client POC
Create "server" folder in repo, "client" folder in repo
Server will run and listen for events
Client will be able to connect to server
Client and Server can send events back/forth

Come up with a basic message format for communications between nodes and servers - see DHCP protocols.
Research motion detection on Android
