Expand on Chapter 02

Chapter 02 should be expanded on the following points:

• Wasn't unicode_strings feature introduced in Perl 5.12? This says it was.
• What is the Unicode Bug? (explanation on perlunicode is not for humans)
• Code examples, even if it's a single line (for use feature, use 5.16.0, and -E).

"Price" of utf8 pragma (Chapter 05)

Would be good to explain in Chapter 05 that the utf8 pragma carries no actual compilation or runtime price (from what I understand).

Also, I would explain another reason for not inserting pure UTF-8 characters in your code: you're either hard-coding data (which should be derived from a source) or you're making your actual code (subroutine names, for example) less accessible to others.

Expand on Chapter 01

Chapter 01 shouldn't really be just Perl strings, but should, in fact, be an introduction. It should explain Perl strings as it does now, but provide a few examples on what this means in practice.

It should show encode and decode from Encode module.
