pagedown-rails's Issues

i18n

Is there a way to overwrite defaultsStrings outside markdown.editor.js to handle i18n?

Thanks!

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'attachEvent' of undefined

I get in console this error:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'attachEvent' of undefined markdown.editor.js:273
util.addEvent markdown.editor.js:273
PreviewManager.setupEvents markdown.editor.js:784
PreviewManager.init markdown.editor.js:956
PreviewManager markdown.editor.js:964
run markdown.editor.js:75
(anonymous function)

Thank you very much!

Deprecation Warnings with Rails 4

DEPRECATION WARNING: Extra .css in SCSS file is unnecessary. It really slows down the sass compiler.

disable some buttons

I tried to #wmd-image-button {display: none}, but since other buttons are positioned dynamically through JS I can't reposition them.

Is there a clean way to perform this?

By the way, I want to disable image button since I handle media with https://github.com/dejan/auto_html

Thanks!

Need update :)

I would like to have so pagedown extra like fenced code.
I've found some here but it requires some new hooks like preBlockGamut that seems to be available on newer versions of pagedown.

Could you update the gem to include these new hooks required by pagedown-extra :) ?

Mobile Friendly

Hey there,

If I put in a pull request to get this thing to be mobile friendly would you merge it if it was solid code?

or is there some other project you're depending on?

Thoughts on how to integrate with Rails forms?

I've been searching high and low and there seems to be zero examples out there of people making Rails forms for objects (e.g., using form_for or simple_form etc) and PageDown. I guess the approach is going to be hacking in the PageDown DOM IDs, but in the javascript examples they use DIVs, whereas Rails uses form elements. Perhaps a logical future addition to the gem would be helpers for Rails forms, since that's, I'm guessing, the number one thing PageDown is going to be used in conjunction with.

Here's an example of what I'm talking about, but for Django: http://pypi.python.org/pypi/django-pagedown
