Does it detect hashtags in arabic letters?

I have an issue that every time i tap on an arabic hashtag the app crashes in the AppDelegate.swift
After adding some break points in the shouldInteractWith URL function it doesn't even run the function. Very weird.
Any information if these links could be in arabic language and this would crash the app or the crash i have is due to something totally different? I tried to search every where over the internet but i didn't get any useful information.
