Flatiron Movie Theater

Description

This is a simple app which enables you as the user to see the different films listed and their details like the mfilm poster, title, runtime and showtime As a user I can:

• See a list of the first film.
• See a list of all films.
• Click on a films' title to see its details i.e image, title, showtime etc.
• When viewing a films' details, I can click on a button and book a ticket and also see remaining tickets for a specific movie

Getting Started

Dependencies

In order for you to use the content on this repo ensure you have the following:

• A computer that runs on either of the following; (Windows 7+, Linux, Mac OS)
• nodejs 16.18.1

Installing

• Firstly, in order to run this site you will need to install json server in your machine with the command npm i -g json-server
• Run this command to get the backend started: json-server --watch db.json
• Test your server by visiting this route in the browser: http://localhost:3000/films

Executing program

• You can be able to run this app but opening it in the browser using this link
• https://richard200.github.io/code-challenge-3/

Help

If any problems arise check and confirm you have json-server installed, initialized and running so that it can be able to detect/see your json file.
