Finish BCTA Route 2 in OSM
Enter rest of Beaver County Transit Authority's Route 2 in Open Street Map.
Finish data extraction script from Overpass API XML dump
Load extracted routes into Postgres database
Build off of Python script for data extraction to load the extracted routes into Postgres database. Likely requires the construction of a parallel "raw" schema that directly reflects the json structure to load the files directly into so you can transform them into geospatial types later.
Python stack:
- SQLAlchemy
- Geopandas
- Folium to visualize results (sanity check)
