API for getting user information?

getting certain information on a given user can be useful for private servers, as a few games rely on the server to know who your friends are to return their scores, allow you to invite them to your room or ask to join theirs, etc.

(btw those examples are all from LBP lol)

Hi, sorry for this issue but I can't find a way of contacting the devs of this projects or find a discord server related to it.

ModNation Racers sceNpCommerce2GetCategoryInfo crash

Hello, I have been attempting to create a server for ModNation racers recently but have run into a roadblock when using ModNation racers + latest DLC with RPCN. It seems the game crashes with the last function on the thread that had caused the crash being "sceNpCommerce2GetCategoryInfo". I assume the game is trying to confirm DLC ownership status with RPCN?

The error logged by RPCS3 is "F {PPU[0x1000012] Thread (CommerceManagerThread) [0x00519248]} VM: Access violation reading location 0x3c (unmapped memory) [type=u0]"

How to reproduce:

  • Obtain ModNation Racers BCUS98167 + The latest DLC (Note this issue does not occur with the base game)
  • Launch game with RPCN enabled, wait for server timeout
  • Attempt to do anything from the title screen, it will crash just before the loading screen transitions in

Demon's Souls: Issues when using two PCs on the same network.

Unable to connect two PCs that are on the same network together through games that use RPCN (Demon's Souls).

Trying to play Demon's Souls with my roommate

We can connect to other people without any errors but if we try to connect to each other it will always fail but only through RPCS3/RPCN. Fog wall will go up as will the Summoning Phantom / Being Summoned message

If we use two PS3s and connect to Yuvi's server, it works just fine.

When using two real PS3s (on the same network) connected to Yuvi's server. We can play together perfectly fine.

Signing ticket fails with "Signature size(66) isn't what is expected(56)!"

With a keypair generated with the OpenSSL commands provided in the README, and the SignTickets bool set to true in the config, the tickets are not being signed and fails with the error shown here:

Add unit tests

This should help with development as to prevent future regressions. Would be better if we hook CI to test for it as well. (helps in PRs)

Demon's Souls: Infinite Loading Screen / Unable to leave on failed invasions.

Quick summary

When an invader fails to establish a connection. Your game will say 'Unable to leave during multiplayer session' indefinitely when trying to use an archstone. Must go to Quit Game then on the next loading screen it will be stuck there permanently. Rebooting the game resumes normal loading screen behavior.

Details

Easiest to replicate at 3-3 with the Old Monk fight. If for whatever reason the invader is unable to establish a connection, the game will allow you to quit to main menu but you cannot use an archstone to leave. Summoning never has this problem, can only replicate this by having someone invade. A successful invasion and death of either the host or the invader will NOT cause the problem to manifest.

Unable to determine what causes the invasion failure.

  1. When worldId is invalid, the error reply shouldn't be malformed
  2. worldId shouldn't be invalid

SFXT Lobby won't take more then 3 players

We can play Street fighter X Tekken just fine on RCPN 1vs1 and 2vs1 and we thank you for that. I just wanna point out one issue, The game won't take more than 3 players in the lobby, lobby will crash when the 4th player joins. Even invites won't help.

We had a stress test and we tested all sorts of scenarios, this was one of them to team up in lobby and play 2vs2 and it didn't work.
