Please update your pom.xml

When I run your pom.xml, there was the following error:

ERROR Source option 1.5 is no longer supported. Use 1.6 or later.

The solution is to update pom.xml with a property:

1.6 1.6

(there is a error with github display. Please refer to https://stackoverflow.com/questions/49028810/error-source-option-1-5-is-no-longer-supported-use-1-6-or-later)
This is my issue/recommendation.

However, the story did not end there. At first when I had this problem, I went to mvnrepository.com to get a jar I thought was built by rmaestre, trouble started.

At mvnrepository.com, there is a knockout copy of jar built by someone who claimed to be fastDTW. That jar changed the timeseries class to interface. WarpPath was changed to not much useful. My suspicion is that that person forked your code, did not know how to use it, but claim the name of fastDTW anyway.

Under the circumstance, it is important that pom.xml works without hitch. So the public have access to the right copy.
