Lecture Notes: Calculus of Variations

Lecture notes for an introductory course on the calculus of variations (variational principles). First delivered at SNS, NUST, Pakistan during the spring semester of 2022-23. Currently incomplete.

Compiling from the source.

The custom cauchy.cls class file, mathsphystools.sty and thmtools.sty auxiliary style files are required to compile main.tex. These files can be obtained from rmathsphys/latex-templates.
