Time calculation on closed venues gives negative numbers.

It seems something has gone wrong with the time calculations. The closed venues are giving me negative minutes to open in the venue time panels.

Enhance the about page

The about page could use some enhancement.

• Links to our LinkedIn, github, blogs, other projects.
• Short bios
• A short text about what we learnt working on this project.

Research cross browser compatibility.

I think we may have cross browse compatibility problems. Especially for the events. This could be a good place to list those bugs so that we can work on them after Flatiron.

When looking at venues in a different time zone, hours and minutes to close/open are wrong.

When I enter an address in e.g. Europe, the time calculations are off because they are based on my local time here in NY. This makes sense if you are just looking at venues near you but it would be cool to be able to view the venues of far off locations.

Style the info sections for the venues.

When you hover over each venue tile, an info section appears that could use some styling. This may entail changing the css of the venue divs as well because I've noticed sometimes the info content overlaps the div.

The hover over functionality is a bit off on mobile devices.

A separate set of javascript code for mobile devices could make the site better adapted for use on mobile devices. The behavior of hover over events in particular are a bit weird on smartphones.

The Is It Open neon image does not center correctly on large screens.

It stops adapting to the screen size at a certain point and ends up being rendered to the left rather than centered above the content.

The background brick images don't cover the entire page.

When there are a lot of venues in a search, the background ends up rendering as white. I think the cause for this is the fact that we are appending them to the venue container using javascript.
