PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted

It looks like, every time I save settings in the Admin menu (Admin->Post Backups -> Save Changes), I will get this error:

Error for home page

Description:
If the page is a home page, there is no file name for it. It will create .html, but there will be an error message ... only once, after the first creation.

Reason:
All files have an address, except the home page, so there is no file name to be used.

If " is used in the commit message, it will return error

For example if you use following commit message you will get and error:
Search box moved above "This course officially starts ..." message

Unvisible characters can cause problems with comparing

Description:
Plugin keeps saying, that files are different even they should not be (e.g. you just uploaded the file to the github, they should be same).

Work around:
If you are sure that the filea are same, but plugin is keeping saying, that they are not, open the commited file on github through RAW and look for weird characters. Then find the places in your original file and delete / rewrite the places with weird characters.

Conflict error if repository is empty

Description:
When you create a new empty repository, then the plugin will not work. It say Conflict error (I think Error 409, but I do not remember the exact number)

Reproduce:
Create a new empty repository. Try to use it it, it will not work

Possible issue:
I think, problem may be, that it is trying to get a commit from a repository with no commits.
