[Issue] Nether Generation

Hey, so I tried to talk with Dutchs and he tried to help me so much but it seems the problem is deeper.

In my server, in some reason, the Nether won't generate at all!
It came like void on an obsidian platforms.
Nothing around.
I tried to copy files from SP and it was loaded at MP, but won't generate more than it generate from the SP.

I spoke to the hosting company, the files are taking from the Curseforge site itself so all original.

Hope it will finally fixed.

[ Suggestion/Request ] Config File

Could you add a config to add/remove what crops could grow on it?

[1.19.2] Snad just doesn't work at all

Fresh instance with snad, jei and top, set config to 20x, no growth increase.

Looking into the soruce a bit, It seems like this pr should resolve it

[Request] Sugar cane & Cactus

Hey,
Both sugar cane and cactus can be exploit by instant growing them with redstone clock or lever.
Idk if that should be like that but for me its too OP, and it will be nice it that could be changed at the Config file.

[Suggestion] Rotate textures of every facet of blocks to show they are different from Sand and Soul Sand

Well, I just found that Sand does show in different directions in vanilla. Then this way is not possible.
But I still think there should be a way to differentiate Sand and Snad.

[Exploit/Possible bug] Rotating a block next to Snad makes for faster updates

When rotating a block next to Snad it seems to update faster causing growth to happen a lot faster. Here is an example: https://gyazo.com/7e097927bee79a7013bec994778ade4d - although I'm using a Chisel and bits block in the gif (and thought was the cause of this) it happens with vanilla minecraft blocks like stairs as well.

In the modpack I'm playing, Forever Stranded, which is a hardcore pack, this makes the pack a lot easier in the early game, and possibly midgame as well as you don't have the infinite water mechanic as in vanilla, but must rely on ex nihilo mechanics of making water - possibly using cactus.

Anyway, hope this was detailed enough.

1.18.1 Can't plant bamboo on Snad.

Bamboo plants fine on default sand and red sand, however I can't plant bamboo on snad.

[1.12.2] Snad-1.12.1-1.7.09.16a works, but is not marked as such on Curse

Snad-1.12.1-1.7.09.16a works on MC 1.12.2 (Forge Mod Loader 14.23.0.2515), but is not marked as such on Curse disallowing modpacks from using it.

Snad treats block updates as growth triggers

Any time a block adjacent to snad updates – and this includes e.g. cactus advancing a growth state right on top of the snad bock – it triggers a growth update, leading to cactus growing its second block near-instantly after placed or trimmed:

This screenshot was taken while the game ran with /gamerule randomTickRate 0, which should mean that nothing grows unless it gets bone-mealed. However, the cactus just kept growing, I'd say roughly every 16 ticks, since that's the number of growth states cactus has.

Snad version: 1.18.2-1.22.04.15a (Growth Speed = 2)
