p4wnp1's Issues

Raspberry Zero W SSH over wifi

hey awesome project.
I'm not that familiar with linux but is it possible to ssh into a Zero W over Wifi?
After the setup it still connects to my router but i cant login.

windows 10 Issue

I recently created the p4wnp1 and pluged it into my windows 10 laptop and two interesting thing first I got this message http://bit.ly/2s97dAH (it could be part of the exploit but I don't know since I didn't see it in the instructions, the other one was that it could find the driver and I got an exclamation in the device manager.
also, could I use this tool with your app ducktoolkit.com the reason I ask is because it create two files a .bin file and a payload and I dont know if bin is supported in your tool,

Thanks

NotAnIssue

I just wanted to thank you! This is a very very good work and it works perfectly! I just thought of making a video about it, but hopefully seytonic or someone else make a video about this so this becomes famous.
Thanks to the developer!

Feature Request

I love this piece of software, but wish there was an easy way to run something automatically, after stage 1 on the backdoor was ran, I want to run a powershell, download a file to C:\Windows and then exit, allowing for entering into the cmd line.

The file I want to download is here: https://beeztem.github.io/downloads/nir.exe (selfhosted file of http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/nircmd.html , just the exe though)

I am downloading to C:\Windows for easy use from the command line.

If anyone wants to help me with this, that would be great.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Edit: The way I want to download the file is here

Troubles when installing via instructions given in INSTALL.md

Ive tried installing P4wnP1 headless with the instructions given in the Install guide.
I get as far as SSHing into the PI, but the connection just breaks after a few seconds and ssh as well as ping report that the Pi is unreachable.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Unable to set German Keyboard Layout

Hello,
I am unable to set the German keyboard layout. I tried it with SetKeyboardLanguage de. If I type SetKeyboardLanguage,
I see that it are bracketed arround it: [2:de]

I guess that this feature will be implemented soon, right? Can I help? Tell me what is to do that the feature get implemented and I try to help. I am not the best programmer but I will give my best.

Best regards

Python Responder: "[!] Fingerprint failed"

If I connect to Pi Zero's IP Address via PuTTY I always get the Error: "[!] fingerprint failed" directly after the "[...] Poisoned answer sent to [..]" message. I don't know what the Error is meaning and I don't know how to fix it. After a while the messages are stopping and my normal terminal appears. If I check the Responder.db file (with sqlite3), it's empty. The Ducky HID-keyboard also doesn't do anything (maybe I'm just stupid).

Someone could help me, please?

There is no screen to be detached -HID Backdoor

this is a great project thanks for all the hard work and dedication mame82.

I'm also getting the same "there is no screen to be detached" error, even after trying multiple cables. If I run ~\P4wnPi1-master\hidtools\backdoor\P4wnP1.py, i get :

File "P4wnP1.py", line 13, in
from DuckEncoder import DuckEncoder
ImportError: No module named DuckEncoder

This is probably some stupid mistake on my part as i am new to this stuff, but any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

3rd party tools as plugins/addons

Ive already asked about metasploit integration which could be difficult with copyleft, so my Idea was that tools like metasploit, responder, jtr, etc. aren't directly integrated in the form of submodules, but rather installed elsewhere and the installation just contains scripts to interface with these applications.

I don't know if that goes ok with licensing and so on, after all, Just an Idea... :)

There is no screen to be detached. - hid_backdoor

Let me start off by saying that this project looks awesome! Great job Mame82!

I just did a fresh install and am able to connect to the network that the Pi creates but every time I SSH into the Pi waiting for the remote attack shell to open I just get a message saying "There is no screen to be detached." and I can't figure out why. I've run the install script with sudo and without sudo to see if that fixes the problem but I haven't had any luck. I also uncommented the write line and recommented it just to see if that makes a difference.

Any help would be great!

(I am using the Pi 0 W and it is updated to the latest version of Raspbian lite)

shd i be concerned for this error

Cannot change language for duckencoder

Hello,

I tried to change the keyboard layout. So i change lang="us" by lang="fr" in the payload1.txt with no success.

So i commented the lang variable in payload1.txt and add it to setup.cfg. No more success ...

Nothing happen when i plug the Pi, when the lang is set to "us" it works !

So i decided to look deeper and when i start P4wnP1 with the script startup_p4wnp1.sh and the lang defined to "us" , it's ok. The same test but with lang defined to "fr" give me that :

Traceback (most recent call last): File "/home/pi/P4wnP1/duckencoder/duckencoder.py", line 494, in <module> main(sys.argv[1:]) File "/home/pi/P4wnP1/duckencoder/duckencoder.py", line 470, in main language=readResource(script_dir + "/resources/" + lang + ".properties") File "/home/pi/P4wnP1/duckencoder/duckencoder.py", line 23, in readResource val = splitted[1].strip() IndexError: list index out of range

Can you see where is the problem ?

OrangePi Zero & NanoPi NEO Air

Did Anyone tried it with those boards?
Due to difficulty to find in-stock RPi Zero, should not better to port to those devices as well?

Can't get the P4wnP1 to work with raspberry PI zero W

Raspberri pi zero W

  1. Installed raspberry jessie lite with etcher

  2. add SSH (empty ) file and wpa_supplicant.conf ( to my home wifi) in boot folder.

  3. Connected via SSH and runned:
    sudo apt-get -y install git
    cd /home/pi
    git clone --recursive https://github.com/mame82/P4wnP1
    cd P4wnP1
    ./install.sh

  4. Rebooted and changed port to USB to closet on to HDMI-port and put it in a Windows10 computer USB.

5.I connect from another computer to WIFI P4wnP1 with password MaMe-P4wnP1
6. Edit the setup.cfg added # to network only and removed from backdoor.
7 Pulled power and again.
8 connect again to wifi and 172.24.0.1. and get the message "
There is no screen to be detached."
9. Just the normal linux shell and nothing on man Windows computer happedns. Tryed every payloads but noone works.

Reinstalled everything 3 times and did the same step. I don't have a monitor to plug in the HDMI and I don't have any USB-to ethernet.

What have I done wrong?

Great.... Running into issues

I went to plug this into my friends computer and hide it under his desk, and discovered, that no matter what USB cable I connected, it would boot into interactive mode, this is very annoying but I was wondering, is there a way to disable interactive mode? If not, is there some other way to make this work?

My friends computer is a Dell All-In-One from a year I can't remember.

I tried 3 USB cables, my Sony PS4 Controller charging cable (this worked on my laptop), a generic USB cable (also worked), and another generic USB cable (didn't work on laptop).

Any help would be great! Thank you in advance.

SetKeyboardLanguage be

Setting this keyboard layout crashes the interface and shoves you straight to the terminal. I haven't checked other layouts, but so far i've tested fr, de, us, gb, and es. So its possible that other layouts are affected?
I've tried reformatting and started from scratch multiple times with the same result.
Please fix :')

WIFI Access Point does not show up

I have a Raspberry Pi Zero w
I installed everything like in your install.md
With the command ifconfig i can see that my pi has wlan0 and its active,
however i cant find the wifi . Itest it with an Andoid Phone and my Win7 Laptop

Bug in backdoor prompt

Reminder to myself: If the client connection is reset by timeout (paylode closed or unresponsive) the prompt of the backdoor server doesn't reflect the disconnect. Fix will be developed in fileupload branch and merged in when fileupload implementation is finished

No screen to be detached

Payload - hidbackdoor
Target OS - Windows 7

I read the other two tickets about this same issue and I tried everything but i am still getting no screen to be detached error. Keyboard driver seems to be installed in the target OS and I am able to run the P4wnP1.py using python command. But when I type FireStage1 it's not doing anything.

Internet cable isnt working over micro usb data port.

Currently i have P4wnP1 installed and i like it sofar.
Now i want to do some more things using my Pi Zero W, like updating and installing some more packages.

I wanted to connect my Pi Zero W to the internet using a ethernet to usb to micro usb cable.
But it isnt working. My Pi doesnt show up in the network.

My only fix now is to first install all other packages and then install P4wnP1.

Hopefully you can help me solving this problem

Usb device not recognized + no internet connection

After running the installer Windows 10 notifies me that the usb device is not recognized and i am unable to connect via putty.
I tried the master and devel branch on a pi zero with a clean raspbian lite.

Path to John

Hey Marcus,
in /home/pi/P4wnP1/get_and_crack_last.sh the path isn't correct:

your code:
/home/pi/john/john /tmp/last.hash
echo $?
/home/pi/john/john --show /tmp/last.hash

corrected code.
/home/pi/P4wnP1/john/john /tmp/last.hash
echo $?
/home/pi/P4wnP1/john/john --show /tmp/last.hash

cheers

Possibility of downloadable IMG

Hi I am having tons of issues setting up rdnis as well as with wpa_supplicant via alternative method of gaining IC.

Anyway you could upload a downloadable img?
Thanks in advance.

john-1-8-0-jumbo_raspbian_jessie_precompiled folder empty

thanks for such great work really enjoying tinkering with my pi0w which has been collecting dust until now. I manually downloaded the john-1-8-0-jumbo_raspbian_jessie_precompiled folder and extracted the tar, am I supposed to place the complete john folder inside of john-1-8-0-jumbo_raspbian_jessie_precompiled or just the contents from the john folder? thanks!

Not an issue but wondering

Not an issue but i was going through the code and was trying to figure out where the setup for the 20Gb rdnis ether is. care to share?

Alternative

Is there no alternative other then raspberry pi zero/Raspberry pi W because standalone shipping of this product costs around 30$ then others taxes..could this be used in orange pi or rpi3?

automatically run ducky script on plug in

How do I set it up so it runs a ducky script automatically upon plug in?
i tried editing the hid_keyboard.txt file in /P4wnP1/payloads but every "$" sign in the code causes issues.
