fcpw's Issues

Primitives defined only in 3D

Primitives such as line segments and triangles are only defined only in 3D. It would be useful to also have them in 2D for example.

Also fcpw won't compile in 2D without changing auto it = cs.emplace(cs.end(), Interaction<3>()); in sbvh.inl from 3 to DIM.

Collissions between meshes

Hi,

Is it possible to compute collisions between primitives rather than closest points?
My scene consists of hundreads planar 3d polygons and I would like to get true or false if they are "touching" face to face.

Currently, I am doing this by RTree search of bounding boxes. Then performing boolean intersection by Clipper library, but this can be quite slow operation.

I am detecting those yellow rectangles to identify collision area. This is my narrow application for timber joints. I am trying to find as fast way as possible to identify connection zones between planar polygons:

BoundingBox collisions

Hi,

Is it possible to find bounding box collisions using fcpw?
Is there any example to do so?

Thank you
