This project deals with zero-mean white gaussian noise removal method using a high-resolution frequency analysis. It is hard to separate an original image component from a noise component when using discrete Fourier transform or discrete cosine transform for analysis because sidelobes occur. These sidelobes are removed in this project by using median filters.

In this project, we did some research and performed the Inverse filtering technique to get a better enhanced image. The inverse filters are designed based on the blur and noise spectrum

Restoring images of damaged paintings using in-painting. Damaged paintings have discolored patches where the paint has faded or fallen off. This project uses image in-painting to fill and restore these lost regions. The models include context-encoders, GANS, conditional GANS and pixel diffusion.

Consider an image corrupted by both additive Gaussian noise and defocus blur. The algorithm is designed in such a way to restore the image making it less noisy and less blurry by making a wiener filter. The algorithm has been evaluated using some quality metrics.
