HTML.

HTML widgets in HTML output cannot be placed in the margin at the moment. Only normal R plots can. I'm not quite sure if it is easy to change it.

Actually if you do not mind putting a screenshot of the widget in the margin, you can use the chunk option screenshot.force = TRUE to force knitr to generate a screenshot.

Suppose I dumped it to an SVG or PNG and I wanted to put the image in the margin, with a caption. How would I do that?
