Minetest Mod: Flexible formspec based text editor

Hi, I'm rubenwardy 👋

I’m a graduate from the University of Bristol and a core developer for Minetest, an open source voxel game engine.

I have a diverse range of interests, both technical and non-technical. Examples include full-stack development, game dev, and Android development. I've recently been spending a lot of time learning how to cook new things 🍝🔥.

editor's Issues

turtleminer-editor - handling of whitespace

The editor is quite sensitive with whitespace,
i.e. leading/trailing spaces, and newlines ("\13")
that result from copy/paste from wiki or forum.

Also, it would be nice to to have comments,
and a counter that shows the current linenumber.

turtleminer-editor - needs more savefile-updates

It looks like the editor-contents are only saved when the player exits the game.
That means, when minetest crashes, all changes are lost.
Crashes currently happen quite often, e.g. when I cut/paste text into a formspec.

So, I suggest more frequent writing of the savefile - e.g. when user presses save-button.
