Problem/Question

Is there an underlying linux installation in the api, because I have a screen on my pi and to use it I have to run to some linux download commands and such, and it would be really cool if I could 3d print a box to cover the screen to make an hspi or home stereo pi, with the ability to troubleshoot the 50k or so songs I have

Update Website

On the website both the changelog and download page still show Runeaudio 0.3 beta as the latest version. On Sourceforge, however, the latest version is 0.4.

Google+ has been shut down

The Google+ link in the footer of https://www.runeaudio.com/ can now be removed.

What does the documentation mean when it says "better sonic performance" and how does the larger buffer size degrade it?

RuneAudio is a dead project. What are the alturnatives?

With no real development, no bug fixes or enhancements in 4-6 years, it looks like RuneAudio is officially dead. What are the alternatives?

Just installed it onto a RPi, and checked the latest commit: 2016 here on github?
When you update the system via pacman -Syu (shall we do that?), there are plenty of updates (536 Mb Download), many replacements of packages with similar/newer ones...

Is this project dead? Do you still recommend it for usage?

Android RuneAudio remote control unable to find player

Installed 20231210_runeaudio_rpi64_b.img.xz [Release version: 0.6b (build: janui-20231210)] on a headless Raspi 3B+.

Is this player up to date with the "latest nightly build" of RuneAudio ?

Web browser connection is functional via LAN to the user interface. CLI is also available using the SSH client, PuTTY. WLAN has been set-up and is working, wired Ethernet disconnected.

The remote control [version 1.2.2] on a Moto G Power [2023] Android [version 13] is unable to find the player. Only the spinning wheel and says, "Last used player is not available".

/etc/avahi/services/runeaudio.service exists with the correct WiFi MAC address.

What are the next steps to resolve this problem ?

Hi guys, it is possible to do real time microphone streaming from mobile with RuneAudio ?
