A plugin for jenkins-job-builder to support pipeline job generation.

Usage:

Plugin adds a new project-type pipeline and a job definition field pipeline. There are two distinct job definitions.

Create a pipeline job with a DSL script:

- job:
    name: example-script
    project-type: pipeline
    pipeline:
      script: |
        # Your dsl script goes here.
        node {
          echo 'Hello world'
        }
      sandbox: true # Use groovy sandbox, false by default.

Create a pipeline job loading pipeline script from SCM.

- job:
    name: example-scm-script
    project-type: pipeline
    pipeline:
      script-path: subdir/Jenkinsfile # path to pipeline script definition, "Jenkinsfile" by default.
      scm: # normal scm definitions
        - git:
            branches:
              - '*/maser'
            url: '[email protected]:github-username/repository-name.git'
            basedir: 'subdir'
            skip-tag: true
            wipe-workspace: false

Definition type is chosen automatically by detecting presence of "scm" field.

jenkins-job-builder-pipeline's Issues

license

Hi, I intend to packaging this as a debian package:
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=851542

However I cannot find any license statement in the source tree. Would you mind to add a license statement even it would be as same as jenkins-job-builder is? :)

According to the JJB authors, this plugin was never proposed
upstream but there is another implementation which has been and is
likely to merge soon: https://review.openstack.org/323744

That is to say, it's unlikely you're going to want to maintain a
redundant/conflicting package for a feature which will probably ship
in the next JJB release anyway.

Support for job-template

Is there any plans to support not only 'job' type, but also 'job-template'?
