Example not working

Hi,
I am currently trying to get the display working with a ESP8266 and I wanted to try the example that you provide. Unfortunately the display keeps "white". Compiling is working without any problem.

Does the pin assignment needs to be the same as written in http://www.waveshare.com/wiki/4.3inch_e-Paper#For_Arduino ?

Showimg BMP image

Hi,
I saw in you example that it is possible to show a bmp image. I added a grayscale bmp file to my project and want to use it like this:

epd_disp_bitmap("M10.BMP", 0, 100);

Unfortunately it is not showing at all. Does it need to be on the SPIFFS?

Cannot print variable

Hi,

first of all thanks for the library it helps a lot. Now I am trying to print a string to the display with a ESP8266, but it does not accept it at all.

String MyText = "This is my text";
epd_disp_string(MyText, 100, 60);

and I get this:

error: cannot convert 'String' to 'const void*' for argument '1' to 'void epd_disp_string(const void*, int, int)'
         epd_disp_string(MyText, 100, 60);
                                         ^
exit status 1
cannot convert 'String' to 'const void*' for argument '1' to 'void epd_disp_string(const void*, int, int)'

I am not really good with Arduino. Any thoughts on this?
