This is a frontend application for a food ordering website. The website interacts with the Swiggy API for backend functionalities.

Introduction

This repository contains the frontend codebase for a food ordering website. It is built using React, Redux Toolkit, and other essential libraries. The website offers a user-friendly interface for browsing food items, placing orders, and managing user accounts.

Build Commands

To run this project locally, follow these steps:

  1. Clone the repository to your local machine.
  2. Navigate to the project directory.
  3. Install dependencies using npm install.
  4. Use one of the following build commands:
  • Development Mode: npm start

    • This command starts a development server using Parcel bundler and opens the application in your default web browser. It also clears the Parcel cache before building the application.
  • Production Build: npm run build

    • This command creates a production-ready build of the application using Parcel bundler. It optimizes assets for performance and prepares the application for deployment.

Note

Ensure that you have valid API credentials and configurations for the Swiggy backend services before running the application. Update the necessary environment variables or configuration files accordingly.
