Issue

These two links are broken in the Readme Line 48

If you do not have Sketch, you can use the Framer SLDS UI Kit or Figma SLDS Components for Web and Figma SLDS Icons libraries, however, they may not be as up-to-date as the Sketch files.

Current Behavior

Figma returns a 404, note reference to potential permissions issue:

If you expected to see a file here you may not have permission to access it. Please ask the owner to update the file permissions. They can read more about that on our Help Page, or email us at [email protected] if they have questions.

Resolution

1. Update permissions (per Figma message above)
2. Update the URLs if they are incorrect

Is this no longer being maintained?

I can install the plugin but none of the components on my Mac. Does this plugin still work with Apple Silicon Macs?

Update UI kit for Summer 18

Hey SLDS team!

Love all of the work you guys are doing, but I've been recently brought onto a design team to manage the use of SLDS and custom components into our version of a sub-system.

It's hard to know what's changed for the design tooling with Summer without also reviewing sketch files :) (Some of us think more visually and like to do compare/contrast exercises rather than read release notes)

If there are no major design updates, a simple note on the documentation here would be helpful.

how can i build my own "add-library?url" like salesforce ux team?

becase sketch cloud update is bad . so i want use it like salesforce UX team , use my own domain, host. but ... i failed.

Picklist missing from Figma SLDS UI Kit

The picklist component is not available.

SLDS Icons Add Library Link is Broken

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

1. Paste link into Chrome sketch://add-library?url=https://www.lightningdesignsystem.com/sketch-library-icons-rss.xml

EXPECTED RESULTS
Add library to Sketch

ACTUAL RESULTS
Sketch returns message "An error occurred in retrieving update information. Please try again later."

WORKAROUND
Download library manually from this repo and add.

Sketch crashes when opening plugin

After installing plugin and attempting to open for the first time, the application crashes upon pressing CMD+J.

This is on Mac Mini with M1 processor.

Datepicker: Override symbol for single selected date missing

Lightning Design System Components for Web's Datepicker can only display ranges, but not single selection.
Days can be overridden with Range Start / Range / Range End, but a symbol for a single selected day as displayed here is missing:

The solution is quite easy and quick: Just make a copy of Datepicker / z-nested / Today and change the background to blue and the text to white.

What can Windows users do?

Hi everyone, I'm a web developer beginner. This is the first time that I come to Design Systems. I decided to give a try to SLDS for my project which has very similar personas.

The thing is, I'm a Windows 10 user, and I begin to use Invision, AdobeXD and even Photoshop (with Craft plugin for Invision) for prototyping. I didn't decided my final setup but, I'm suffering with this kind of dispersion.

I want to proto with SLDS before entering to develop in React.

What do you suggest to me? Thanks!

Libraries for Figma not working

Hi,

I would like to access salesforce's library for Figma (Figma SLDS Components for Web and Figma SLDS Icons) but when clicking the link this message appears "File not found. Either this file doesn’t exist or you don’t have permission to view it. Ask the file owner to verify the link and/or update permissions."

Moreover, is there a library for Adobe XD?

Salesforce Sans removal

With the removal of Salesforce Sans, the readme info should probably be updated

"Some fonts in this document are missing"

Some fonts used in the Sketch file are prompting the user with this issue:

This has side effects such as this badly rendered component:

But overall the UI Kit is usable.

Dear SFDX, because Sketch is a Mac only (and commercial) product, would you please consider publishing a PDF of the design kit? Thank you!

Take advantage of sketch libraries!

Would be great if we could have this refreshed the latest release and take advantage of Sketch Libraries and symbols!

Fonts

I followed below instructions but I don't see fonts (or the indicated folder)

1 Download the Design System Zip
2 Find the fonts located in the /assets/fonts directory
3 Install the fonts on your system

Not so much an issue as a question RE: Contribution

I'd love to be able to start contributing back some work I am doing to make the sketch library more efficient to use for my team.

What is the best way to do that?

Small chunks of work? Big chunks of work?

npm start doing nothing

npm install returns this:

Not updated for Winter '18

The changes to the SLDS were significant in Winter '18, are there plans to update the design system UI kit?

This would be very helpful for those who want to ensure their mockups are always utilizing the latest design system assets.
