Wouldn't you like little fren who writes with you? A brother in arms? A companion? A friend? An AI? Well, here you go. This is a plugin for Obsidian that allows you to write with the helpf of NovelAI. It's a very simple plugin, but it's a plugin nonetheless.

Lorebook access

Should there be a way to access the lorebook besides a keyboard shortcut that isn't set by default? Am I missing a way of adding it to a sidebar, or something?

New plugin name requirements

Hi @SalokinGreen

Per our developer policies,
please ensure that your plugin's name does not include the word "Obsidian".
In addition, the plugin name should not include the word "Plugin", as that is unecessary duplication.
We have already modified the name of your plugin to "NovelAI" in our records.

To maintain compliance, take the following actions:

  1. Modify the manifest.json file in your plugin repository.
  2. Generate a new release for your plugin to ensure users download the updated manifest.

If you have a idea for a different plugin name, you may also submit a pull request to the obsidianmd/obsidian-releases repository.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Crashes when enabled on Android/Mobile App

The plugin works beautifully on desktop, however it doesn't work at all on my Android. On current public version for both (Android - 1.4.9 and Desktop - 1.4.5), and tested on my main vault and on a new vault.

If installing on Android, it crashes as it seems to finish. When relaunching, Obsidian works fine but the plugin is disabled and does not re-enable. It gives me "Failed to load plugin nai4obsidian".

If the plugin is already installed on desktop then transferred onto my Android, Obsidian crashes at "Loading plugins..." The only way to open the vault is to disable the plugin on desktop or delete the plugin folder.

My guess is that the mobile version is based on an older version of desktop Obsidian (v1.3.7 according to this post) so the plugin might be calling a new function that isn't in this older version, but I'm the furthest thing from a developer so who knows. If you need any additional info, I'd be happy to help!
