Here is a future enhancement you may wish to consider - add a popover on click with an option to display gnome-calendar as per the current inbuilt clock applet.

Suggestion for a future enhancement?

With the ability to have multiple clocks on various panels - maybe have the ability to vary the time shown? e.g. show the time of New York & Tokyo as well as your local time?

This might be through a UTC type dropdown timezone maybe? or drop-down of major capitals? might be complicated where some countries are UTC +/- hour & 30 minutes rather than a whole hour.

Clock is blurry when using display scaling

When using scaling options (200% or fractional options), the clock will appear blurry.

This unfortunately makes the clock look unpleasant when used on higher resolution displays.

Looking at the way a Gtk.DrawingArea was used in another project, it should be possible to fix this in the same way to provide a sharp drawing with scaling on.
