💡Objectives

The objective of this project is to thoroughly analyze the healthcare dataset and various associated metrics to uncover meaningful insights. By examining patterns, trends, and correlations within the data, we aim to identify key factors influencing healthcare outcomes. These insights will inform strategies to improve patient care and optimize healthcare operations.

💡Description

The steps involved in building this healthcare analytics projects are mentioned below:

  • The project begins with the process of data cleaning, which involves removing any duplicate entries, removing null values, setting the correct format for columns with text, setting the correct datatype for each column, and so on.
  • The next step is to form tables and start the analysis process, using the vlookup function to extract useful data columns for analysis purposes.
  • We created pivot tables and pivot charts to solve the problem statement.
  • Finally, we created an interactive dashboard to more effectively represent the analysis.

💡Results

The following key results were obtained after performing data analysis on the dataset:

  1. Doctors Treating Specific Conditions: A significant proportion of doctors, 16.92%, specialize in treating arthritis, while a nearly equal percentage, 16.91%, focus on managing diabetes.

  2. Patient Blood Type Distribution: Among the patients, 16.08% have a B-negative blood type, reflecting a notable segment of the patient population.

  3. Age Demographics: The majority of patients, 21.87%, are over the age of 70. This age group represents the largest portion of the patient population.

  4. Health Condition Prevalence by Age: Patients aged 70 and above experience the highest incidence of hypertension.

  5. Patient Volume in 2020: The year 2020 recorded the highest number of patients, with a total of 11,285 individuals seeking medical attention.
