blog.tokenauthgettingstarted's Issues

Token Provider Options no property NonceGenerator?

I get the following error when trying to build: 'TokenProviderOptions' does not contain a definition for 'NonceGenerator' and no extension method 'NonceGenerator' accepting a first argument of type 'TokenProviderOptions' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)

I see in your TokenProviderOptions you do not have a property for NonceGenerator()?

Is CustomJwtDataFormat actually used?

I am testing your (very nice, thank you ) project but I can't see the following code in Startup.Auth making any difference:
.AddCookie(options => { options.Cookie.Name = Configuration.GetSection("TokenAuthentication:CookieName").Value; options.TicketDataFormat = new CustomJwtDataFormat( SecurityAlgorithms.HmacSha256, _tokenValidationParameters); });
So it seems the CustomJwtDataFormat class can be removed?

Core 2.0 (DELETE ME)

Seems you are taking a very complex approach to something that is all built-in the middleware. Why not just make example using JwtBeaer and how to accept token or auth then SaveToken and it's usage?

Access Token Details from API

Your provider and middleware are great! I followed your blog post on how to implement this and it works flawlessly. Accessing (authorization) the APIs were only half the battle. I need to determine who is the user that is making the API call. From my API controller (or some other base class), how can I access the token's information and retrieve the username?
