RESTful endpoints to enable the usage of abapGit for ABAP Development Tools

These endpoints are used in the SAP Cloud Platform ABAP Environment for the communication between abapGit and the ABAP Development Tools. Hence, these endpoints requiring the use of abapGit in SAP Namespace.

This repository is just for information purpose

As the sources are in SAP namespace, it's not possible to use these sources in non SAP internal systems!

How to use it in a custom system ( activation key is needed )

Hi!

Unfortunately the tool asks for the activation key.

Is it possible to deliver somehow the solution which can be istalled without access to support portal?

if_abapgit_persistence missing in repository

Hello,

interface if_abapgit_persistence seems to be missing in the repository, it's type definition if_abapgit_persistence=>ty_repo is used in class cl_abapgit_res_repos.

Due to missing object, it's not possible to active the objects [all transformations and class cl_abapgit_res_repos].

Would it be possible to add this interface into repository?

"First of all, you need an installation of abapGit (report only won't work) in SAP Namespace in your system."

Further reading refers to abapGit documentation, but I cannot find any information regarding installation in SAP namespace there.

Some github instances no longer support Anonymous access for cloninng

I think we are having troubles clonning repositories via abapGit ADT plugins because the backend tries to clone the repo with anonymous access.

Are you aware of this problem?
