Wrong target page for UI5con 2018

On the community landing page https://openui5.org/community/ the link on UI5con 2018 directs to the current event UI5con 2019 instead of directing to the sessions of 2018 (https://openui5.org/ui5con/material2018.html).

In addition it might make sense to consider a differentiation between upcoming and past events?

Fallback Fonts for faster text loading/display

Stakeholder feedback: It would be great to have Fallback Fonts implemented so that the text is loaded faster.

Projects page: Link for "Add a new project" doesn't work

Hi,

the target of the "Add a new project" link on the Projects page doesn't exist (anymore). The current link is https://github.com/SAP/openui5/tree/gh-pages/docs/CommunityProjects.md, but it probably should be https://github.com/SAP/openui5-website/blob/master/src/public/docs/CommunityProjects.md.

Internet Explorer: Formatting issue on Documentation page

Hi
there is a formatting problem on the Documentation page (https://openui5.org/documentation/) when it's displayed in Internet Explorer. There are some overlaps at the bottom of the screen. See attached screenshot. Other browsers seem to be fine.

Buttons on releases page alignment on small screen devices

Code Sandbox Section Broken

Instead of the code sandbox a bank container is being shown and a JS error can be observed on the dev console.

Visual bugs after merged PR #4

After merged PR #4 the following visual bugs can be observed:

• the is no space between links in the footer on some screen breakouts
• some links have underline on hover, some not
• internal links should not open in the new window

Press "Run" in the code sandbox shows a corrupt result page (cannot GET /content/index.html)

Remove embedded plunk from the home page

Problem

Currently, visitors of the https://openui5.org see the following on the front page:

As if displaying a warning in the preview panel is not bad enough, clicking on any of the buttons (Back, Proceed, Dismiss) doesn't actually do anything.

Plunker was very popular in the AngularJS days and it's still useful for e.g. sharing small demos or code snippets on various Q&A platforms. But it's unfortunately poorly maintained, broken, and ad-supported which is, frankly speaking, quite embarrassing compared to how other frameworks showcase their key concepts on their homepage (See https://svelte.dev).

Solution?

Simply removing the plunk from the homepage would reduce the impression that OpenUI5 itself is not well-maintained.

UI5con Bangalore 2019 event is missing

On the landing page community (https://openui5.org/community/) the upcoming event UI5con 2019 Bangalore is missing happening on JULY 4TH 2019.
In addition the link for UI5con 2018 Bangalore should not direct to https://openui5.org/ui5conblr/ but to https://openui5.org/ui5conblr/material2018.html.

Broken OpenUI5 logo assets

While opening O_UI5_V.svg, O_OpenUI5_V.svg, O.svg and so on from ui5logo_web_assets.zip in Illustrator or Photoshop there is an incorrect layer with a gradient on top:

Release version button broken

Steps to reproduce

1. Open https://openui5.org/
2. Click on one of the sections from the header: /documentation, /releases, /projects, or /community
3. Click on the version number that's displayed next to the logo (Currently 1.84.0)

The button simply appends /releases to the current URL.

Roadmap link broken

Steps to reproduce

1. Go to https://openui5.org/releases/
2. Select Roadmap in the Explore section

The link to the PDF file is https://openui5.org/releases/OpenUI5_Roadmap.pdf which leads to nowhere.

Improvement: Add learn more link to index page

Now that we have the Quickstart Tutorial in place, we could finally add the "Learn More" action to the index page as we orginally planned:

• "Learn More" action (below key features) may point to "Get Started & Tutorials" section to browse the learning path and understand the key capabilities of our framework in detail:

wrong event date on community page

Hi,
The date for UI5con 2019 in Germany is wrong. On the page https://openui5.org/community/ it states the event is on July 28 but in fact it was on June 28.
