REST-API

RESTful API using Node.js, Express, MongoDB and Mongoose.

This project uses the workings of a shop as a reference for this API.

What it can do

  1. Automatic Reloading
  2. Default logging
  3. Error handling
  4. CORS errors handling
  5. Authenticated SignUp

Installation of Node.js

(refer to the latest node documentation for the installation of Node.js)

Install the following libraries and modules

  1. Express
  2. morgan
  3. mongoose
  4. bcrpyt
  5. jsonwebtoken

For Authentication

The following are used:

  1. node.bcrypt.js
  2. node-jsonwebtoken
