@saurfang I am working on removing our own dependency (during build) on bintray, which means removing the now very deprecated sbt-spark-packages sbt plugin

@mathsmith I am also facing the same issue.
Bintray is no more active. I think developers need to change the artifactory to someplace else.
I am currently building the jar from the sources.

You should still be able to download the compiled jars from spark-packages:
https://spark-packages.org/package/saurfang/spark-sas7bdat
from spark-sas7bdat.
