WordPress insists that terms be entered with the category even though term IDs are unique regardless of category. The approach of storing a master array of allowed term IDs needs to be changed to array ( tax_name => array( termID, termID, ...), ...)

Term removal logic and behavior

Tags need tested and there is probably a fair bit of implementation here (subtask of the metabox stuff)

Finish metabox replacement logic and markup for category-type taxonomies

is_user_in_term_caps_group function to check via code if a user is part of a group (by name, not title)

Update readme.txt with plugin description and other info

Helper methods and probably a small class to handle managed taxonomy/term info

Going directly to the $managed_taxonomies array is messy, error prone, and makes the implementation harder to read.

Test hierarchical taxonomy metabox

All my testing has been on single-level category-type metaboxes so far
