Some sprites!

Here's some sprites I think should exist:

• Player: facing left, right, up, down
  • Walk cycle: two sprites in each direction
• A couple of monsters
• A couple of armor items
• A couple of weapon items
• Inventory grid — not sure how you want to handle the apperance of this exactly, but we should have an inventory
  • Placeholder sprite
  • Inventory grid boxes?
• Equipment slots
  • Weapon box
  • Armor box
• Outer walls
• Treasure chest, closed and open
• Some junk that will be sitting around in the rooms to make them look nice

Script creates a randomly sized square room

Adventurer stats

• Adventurer has stats.
• Player can change stats.

Basic dungeon room

We need a basic dungeon room.

• Has walls
• Has an enemy
• Has a player adventurer
• Has tiles.

Basic Player

• Sprite
• Movement
• Stats
• Attack
• Equipment

Consumable items

• Health increaser
  • Sprite
  • Item
• Attack increaser
  • Sprite
  • Item
  • Status effect
• Any 1 stat increaser
  • Sprite
  • Item
• Obstacle creator (e.g. bomb, debris)
  • Item sprite
  • World sprite
  • Item object
  • Placement

Inventory and equip slots

• Adventurer has an inventory.
• Adventurer has equip slots
• Items exist in the inventory.
• Items can be equipped or used

Basic adventurer

We need an adventurer character.

• Stats change damage, resistance to damage, and speed.
• Can move to a target location.
• Hits enemies.
• Sprite.

Basic monsters

• Sprite.

• March horizontally or vertically.

• Hit player on collision.
