Gas unit_of_measurement not reported correctly

I am getting my data from Glowmarkt MQTT broker and the unit of measurement is displayed as m³ whereas the data provided is kWh, can an option be added to allow the correct selection rather than:
gas_unit = "kWh" if local else "m³"
I am not sure if this is due to my meter being SMETS 1?

Requirement for protection from 0 readings

With my Gas supply I am seeing the reading dip to 0 at 00:00 and 03:00 each day the next reading is the correct one, it would be very useful for readings which are state_class: total_increasing to have a catch to prevent them from providing a erroneous reading. The only time this would happen is if the meter itself is replaced.

MQTT topic prefix isn't always SMART/HILD

Octopus Energy provide the Glowstick however the topic prefix is SMART/OCT/ instead of SMART/HILD/ . Could this be supported? Maybe instead of specifying just the Device ID, the full topic is requested, in case there are other energy customers using this product?
