open command not found on bash

Hello! I noticed this repo hasnt been updated for a while, but i figured to put this here in case anyone ran into the same small problem as i did. I use bash, with the alacritty terminal.
Upon writing noted in the command line i received this error:

/usr/local/bin/noted: line 64: open: command not found

On line 64 and 102 of the noted main i simply had to modify the command "open" into "xdg-open" in order to make the script work! :)

Getting started weird issue

Hi, I had to git -C $HOME/Documents clone [email protected]:scottashipp/noted.git instead of git clone [email protected]:scottashipp/noted.git -C $HOME/Documents.

I'm on mac w/ iterm2 but I don't have another env to test.

Plz remove the leading newline when creating new note

I noticed every time new notes are created, a leading and a tailing newline will be added to the template. If the template has YAML front matter, the leading newline may cause error parsing the YAML. Please consider remove the leading newline
