Chances of Graduate School Admission

The Jupyter Notebook (notebook.ipynb) performs analytics and simple prediction of chances of getting admitted in a graduate school based on various factors.

Dataset

The dataset is taken from Kaggle and can be found at https://www.kaggle.com/mohansacharya/graduate-admissions?select=Admission_Predict_Ver1.1.csv

The dataset contains following information:

• GRE Score (out of 340).
• TOEFL Score (out of 120).
• University Rating (out of 5).
• Statement of Purpose and Letter of Recommendation Strength (out of 5).
• Undergraduate GPA (out of 10).
• Research Experience (0 or 1).
• Chance of Admit (ranging from 0 to 1).

Notes

• Different relationships have been explored between each of the above factos. They are all accompied by visual plots and EDA has been performed.
• Lastly, a simple multi-linear regression model that predicts chances of admission based on all of the factors has also been provided.
