Made for GBJam9 and GBCompo 21 in a week!

This was the first time I've written anything in C, so definitely don't use my code as an example as I have no idea what I'm doing! Definitely open to any pointers, though. (heh)

acattag's Issues

Worm spin and rotation errors

Worm spins in place 70% of the time, and no longer crawls with mirrored sprites. Might have something to do with the crawling code being added to the creation?

Creation rotation

Rotation for the individual parts doesn't work visually, although the body parts DO rearrange based on the position

Black square issue

Often the square the blob uses to spawn will overwrite properly the first time, but on doubling back it won't overwrite the tile

Graphical bugs still exist in synthesis

ArmL+Legs combo has wrongorientation during rotation, ArmR is backwards; probably more

Left worm permanently ruins right worm

Weird behavior, when creating a creature with worm armL initially it works as intended, but if you create a creature with worm armR first and then switch to making worm armL the graphics are stuck as though it was armR

4 Part Crash

Creating a fully slotted creature generally crashes the game. Why? Is it a memory issue?
I already reduced the sprites and it's not like the creations use more than 2 unique parts

If can't solve, may need to limit player to only 3 slots at a time

Gate earthquake noise failing

For some reason, the gate opening noise only plays properly 1 out of every 30 times or so. Not sure why.
