If you specify a slug while creating a new camp object, the slug is overwritten

Slug should check whether an existing value exists during creation. If it does, then don't create a new value. If it does not, then create a value.

While registering a user, the user is created but the page returns an error

The it happens because the username field is limited to 30 characters. Currently, the username is getting md5'd and thus longer than 30 characters. That's why the username gets truncated and authenticate returns None.
