Make your Raspberry Pi Zero W as a home security camera.

Quick Start

• Hardware: Connect your Raspberry Pi Zero W with a camera.
• Installation: Download the latest release of XiaoPi and install image to your SD card. The procedures are same as Raspberry Pi standard image.

Connectivity

XiaoPi camera supports multiple connection methods:

• WiFi Access Point: Connect to XiaoPi's WiFi AP directly
• WiFi Station: Let XiaoPi connect to external WiFi router
• USB Ethernet: Connect your PC and XiaoPi with USB 2.0

Camera Viewing

• RTSP
• WebRTC (PREVIEW)

hidden ssid

no way to connect to hidden ssid, cant manualy enter ssid. i have even tryed to enable ssid broadcast ,connect then re hide and still cant connect.

Allow camera to be configured to connect to an existing wireless router

This image is great! Super simple, and useful.

One of the constraints imposed by making the Pi a wifi hotspot is that you can only connect to one camera at a time from a given host.

Have you considered creating the option to have the camera connect to an existing router on boot? This way, you could have many cameras join a single network, and aggregate all of them into a multi-view system.

Boot hangs on Pi Zero 2 W

I tried imaging the latest release but when I tried booting on my Zero 2 W all I get is the color splash screen. I also tried cloning the project but some submodules were not found. Is there any hope?

Poor stream quality

Hi!
It's working fine but the stream quality is poor. Any chance to modify the resolution?
